 To book a painting session, please use our online booking system.  If a last-minute decision and nothing is showing on the booking system, please call or text the mobile 07361 207322, simply stating how many people will be attending and how many painting.  Give us a preferred time and we will see what we can do.

Please note - We are a small studio so sometimes it isn't easy to cater for too many spectators.

During the week, outside of school holidays, the studio is much quieter and best for baby/toddler handprints etc

It is possible to just 'walk in' but we cannot guarantee a painting spot!

For clay, wheel or workshop sessions, these must be booked in advance.  We would not normally hold clay sessions on a Saturday as the studio is too busy to mix both activities of painting and clay work.

For our painting sessions, there is a studio fee payable for each person and then it is just the price of the pottery item you choose.

Our selection constantly changes, so we do not list items on this website.

However, as a general rule, our children's 'party pieces' start at around £10 - with an average cost of £12-15 (plus the studio fee)

An average cost per mug is £14 and plates are around the same.

If you require any personalization or correction of a painting, we are happy to do this, but there may be an additional charge.

Please note, you are not just buying a piece of pottery - it is the experience, effort and memories that are being created!

As mentioned above, a Studio Fee is charged per painter, per session. This covers all materials on the day and the glazing and firing process. You then just add the cost of the individual pottery items you choose.

At the end of your session, you leave your pottery with us to be glazed and fired. You will be quoted a date for collection of your finished item(s), which is usually around 7-14 days later.

During busy holiday periods, you may have to wait just a few days more - if you need your pottery back for a certain date, just let us know and we will try and prioritise to get it back to you.

 We do offer classes and workshops - we are planning on running differnet workshops to cover special seasonal occasions as well as development workshops where you can try out new techniques and paint effects - for example -  create you own tea set ! 

 We can create personalised vouchers for any amount or event - Birthdays, Anniversaries etc.  These can be based on the average spend on pottery of £15, plus studio fee - whatever amount you want!

No matter what age or artistic ability, anyone can create something unique and beautiful to treasure. Just adding a dap of paint to any object makes it special to you or the person receiving the gift

Absolutely - we are thrilled to be included in your celebrations.

We try to keep these for bookings on Sundays where we can offer you more time, help and exclusivity.  We can help you with a themed party or a party to suit your budget.  It is sometimes simpler to offer a particular object such a mugs, plates or trinket boxes, or base the selection a cost basis.  

We are happy to offer the attendees just a small selection based on your choice rather than everything in the studio!

Pottery painting parties are far from being just for children – the experience is hugely enjoyable for adults too!

Whether you are organising a corporate get-together, looking to catch up with some old friends or looking for a fun start to your hen party, bring a bottle, relax, laugh and decorate your own unique pottery – perhaps a colour co-ordinated breakfast set for the bride, a unique gift, or simply a memento of the day to take home.

As soon as you have finished painting, the object is taken to our firing room to be glazed and then fired.  Depending on how busy we are will determine how long this takes.  Normally goods are available for collection within 7-14 days, this may be earlier depending on how busy we are.

If you need your object back urgently, then please speak with Francesca at the time of painting

We are more than happy to put together a pack for you to paint at home.  Simply select your pottery and 6 basic colours, let us know if you need to loan palettes and brushes and we can put it all together for you.  we will send you away with a colour chart so you know how the colours will look when fired.  You simply return the painted pottery and we will glaze and fire the same as pottery painted at the studio.
